Keep reading! We offer a Multi-Skill Program in which our focus is to share skills. Our projects include: Art, Music, Sports, Languages, Animal Rescue, Child care, Health Care, Traditional Thai and Chinese Medicine and many more. We work with different organizations such as schools, universities, temples, hospitals, clinics, school for mentally disabled children, women prison, NGO for single women, animal rescue, community development projects, NGOs for refugees, elephant rescue, eco-tourism projects, hill tribe foundations etc. We, at the Chiang Mai University Language Institute, believe in creating an authentic cross-cultural learning experience for both participants and hosts, free from commercialization. There is a one-time placement fee to cover our administrative costs for this program. There are no additional charges for extending a volunteer period. Are you interested in teaching English but you don't have experience/ a teaching qualification? Don't worry, we also offer TEFL on-line and TEFL in-house certification courses in combination with a volunteer placement. After completing your volunteer period you'll receive a certificate from the Language Institute, Chiang Mai University with hours of volunteering completed and an unforgettable experience!

Qualifications:
To volunteer we require a teaching qualification and/or experience. It is also possible to join our online-TEFL or Inhouse-TEFL programs to obtain a teaching qualification before starting a volunteer period. There are no qualifications necessary to join our TEFL courses.
