Our Courses:

*      University level:
This General English course is run in conjunction with CE at UP. It consists of 48 sessions. The advantage of doing this level is that you will have the opportunity to be in the English Department at the University, where you will be taught by professors and highly qualified lecturers.

We are very proud to present this intesive course as it will definitely help to improve your English and gives you the chance to experience campus life. In addition it enables you to attend other University lectures and prticipate in clubs, societies and activities that the campus has to offer. This will give you a taste of South African University life!

On completion of this course the University will issue you with a certificate

*      Prestige Level
This course involves forty sessions of General english, but extra afternoon classes are also available.

This course benefits those who would prefer to plan their afternoon activities. While the university level focuses more on the academic aspect of the language, the Prestige course offers a more relaxed, interactive and hands-on learning environment.

*      IELTS Preparation
IELTS is a widely recognised English test that is often required by English speaking countries when students apply to study at Universities or work in international companies. This academic course used specific materials in order to prepare you for these exams.

*      English Plus
This is an interactive course focussing more on conversational English. The Classes mainly consists of discussions in order to improve your communication skills.

*      Business English
The Business course is recommended for students who use English mainly in business situations.
The Afternoon lessons cover the language skills needed in the workplace, such as negotiating, telephoning, presentations and writing reports. Only experienced business course trainers teach this course.

*      Cambridge Exam Preparation
The course prepares you for the Cambridge certificate exam and focuses on all aspects of the English language including grammar, speaking, listening, reading and writing. Practical tests are given as part of the preparation. This course is specifically aimed at strong, advanced level students.

This course prepares you for either the Cambridge First Certificate (FCE), Cambridge Advanced Certificate (CAE) or Cambridge Proficiency Certificate (CPE), depending on your requirements.

All applicants are required to complete a placement test before being accepted
