Study Spanish in Bolivia
Bolivia
- Other Cities in Bolivia:
Sucre
Description:
This Spanish language immersion program takes place in Sucre, Bolivia, the "white city" which many consider to be the most beautiful in the country. The indigenous people of Bolivia have lifestyles and customs completely foreign to outsiders. There are literally hundreds of small villages and hamlets where the residents have changed very little since the time of Spanish Conquistadors. Visiting these communities is like stepping back in time and immersing yourself in this culture is the perfect opportunity to learn the Spanish language. We offer three course load options: * General Spanish Courses 20 lessons per week focusing mainly on grammar and conversation. * Intensive Spanish Courses 30 lessons per week (20 group and 10 individual) * One-on-One classes The aim of this program is to offer a personalized method of teaching which is tailor made for the specific needs of the student. The course offers 10 private lessons a week.
Highlights:
We offer a wide variety of extra curricular activities to all students. Some activities are free while others may require an entrance or transportation fee. Some examples of activities are: * City tour, film screenings, going away party some Fridays, tourist information, games, small lectures * Trips in or near Sucre. The most common destinations are museums, indigenous markets, dinosaur tracks, archaeological sites, hiking, etc. * Trips to places outside of the city. The most common destinations are archaeological sites, man made "lagoons", natural thermal baths, churches, and hiking in the mountains * Dance classes and cooking classes Accommodation in host families allows students to discover Bolivian lifestyle and culture while also providing an efficient way to practice their language skills. The families are carefully selected in order to ensure that students have a pleasant stay. Students may choose either between individual or shared rooms. Breakfast and dinner are included.

Easy Languages's Mission Statement: In this steadily shrinking world where studies and employment are taking an increasingly international tilt, active knowledge of foreign languages is becoming an indispensable skill for students, business people, and even tourists. These skills, however, are extremely difficult to acquire at home. A stay among native speakers of the target languages not only facilitates the learning process, but most experts agree that it is essential to becoming a truly fluent speaker.
With over 15 years of experience in organizing journeys abroad to study languages, we here at Easy Languages offer a range of courses for every age group, time line and budget. Our students participate in everything from week long holiday trips to England to year long exchanges in Costa Rica.
As opposed to the majority of organizations offering services similar to ours, we do not charge any administrative price supplements. There are no hidden costs in any of our programs. All of our prices are clearly displayed in one convenient, readable table directly on the summary page of each program. We are a company that values honesty and believes that full disclosure is part of that commitment.
