Study Spanish in Buenos Aires
Argentina
- Buenos Aires:
Buenos Aires
Description:
This Spanish language immersion program takes place in Buenos Aires, the cosmopolitan capital of Argentina. The school is situated in the Palacio San Miguel, in one of the most beautiful historical buildings in the center of the city. It is in close proximity to the shopping streets and the famous and lively San Telmo area where you will find local tango dancers in the clubs. The school also offers a roof terrace, a lounge and a space used for video screenings or tango lessons. The school offers course loads of 20 or 30 lessons per week, or one-on-one private lessons where the aim is to offer a personalized method of teaching which is tailor made for the specific needs of the student (10 private lessons a week). Our event coordinator arranges activities which give students the opportunity to communicate and interact with each other, while introducing them to Buenos Aires' attractions and entertainment scene. Language skills learned in the classroom can be used in everyday situations and reinforce the student's general use of the language. Some examples of activities include: lessons in Tango and folk dances, visits to local bars, museums, theaters and cinemas, or lectures on the history and economy of Buenos Aires. The school also offers weekend excursions to Cordoba, Belgrano, Bariloche/Patagonia (to ski), Mendoza, the Iguazu Waterfalls, Rio de Plata, and several indigenous villages (Salta, Chaco, Jujuy).
Highlights:
Students have the choice of accommodation in a host family or a student residence: Living with a selected host family in Argentina will enable the student to learn about Argentinian lifestyle thanks to first hand experience with culture and traditions. Rooms are private and half-board is provided (2 meals a day). Families are located a 20-25 minute bus ride from school. Student residences are ideal for people who are more independent and wish to meet both Argentinian and international students. The residences are situated close to coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and night clubs where students can easily meet new people and use their acquired language skills in a pleasant environment.

Easy Languages's Mission Statement: In this steadily shrinking world where studies and employment are taking an increasingly international tilt, active knowledge of foreign languages is becoming an indispensable skill for students, business people, and even tourists. These skills, however, are extremely difficult to acquire at home. A stay among native speakers of the target languages not only facilitates the learning process, but most experts agree that it is essential to becoming a truly fluent speaker.
With over 15 years of experience in organizing journeys abroad to study languages, we here at Easy Languages offer a range of courses for every age group, time line and budget. Our students participate in everything from week long holiday trips to England to year long exchanges in Costa Rica.
As opposed to the majority of organizations offering services similar to ours, we do not charge any administrative price supplements. There are no hidden costs in any of our programs. All of our prices are clearly displayed in one convenient, readable table directly on the summary page of each program. We are a company that values honesty and believes that full disclosure is part of that commitment.
