Description: This Spanish language immersion program takes place in the economic and cultural center of Argentina, Cordoba, which bears the nickname, "the Paris of the South". Around the turn of the last century, a flurry of literary activity brought the city into the center of the Spanish language literary world. Today, this rich cultural tradition continues; Córdoba is the birthplace of the cuarteto musical genre and dancing to this energetic music is a favorite evening pastime in the city. Our small and friendly school is located in the center of Córdoba, amidst bustling Argentinian life.

We offer four programs in Córdoba:
* General Spanish Courses
20 lessons per week focusing mostly on grammar and conversation.
* Intensive Spanish Courses
30 lessons per week focusing mostly on grammar and conversation.
* Spanish and Tango Lessons
10 lessons in Spanish each week as well as 8 hours of Tango instruction.
* One-on-One Classes
The aim of this program is to offer a personalized method of teaching which is tailor made for the specific needs of the student. The course offers 10 private lessons a week.

A wide variety of extra-curricular activities are offered to all students. Some activities are free while others may require an entrance or transportation fee. Some examples of activities are:

* Tango or folk dance classes.
* Evenings in the famous local pubs.
* Lectures on art, literature, politics, grammar workshop,
* Visits to museums
* Theater performances
* First Monday of each month there is a welcome lunch for all currently enrolled students.
* Intercambios arranged upon request.
* Weekend trips to common destinations: trekking, river rafting, horseback riding, fishing, barbecuing, skiing, etc. There are 4 man made lakes nearby (1 hr to the closest). Other travel attractions: A German town, Bariloche, Mendoza, Igazu Falls, Rio de Plata, Buenos Aires.

Highlights: Living with a selected host family in Córdoba will enable the student to see and learn everything about the Argentinian lifestyle with first hand experience of the culture and traditions. Host families have been carefully chosen to ensure that students have a pleasant stay in Argentina and are treated as family members. Students may choose between private or shared rooms as well as half-board (breakfast & lunch) or bed and breakfast. Please note that the prices below include half-board, in a private room.

Private apartments are also available for students who so desire, however this option does not include meals.
