Description: This Spanish language immersion program takes place in Cuzco, once the great capital of the Inca civilization and considered to be one of the most beautiful and historic locations found anywhere in Latin America. Many people are drawn to Cuzco for its close proximity to the famous Machu Picchu ruins and the Inca Trail, as well as the nearby Ollantaytambo and Sacsayhuamán ruins. Our school is conveniently located next to the main post office, Internet cafes, and banks. It is about four blocks from the main square, the Plaza de Armas, the central meeting area of Cuzco (a great place to people-watch!). There are many restaurants, cafes, cathedrals and museums nearby.

Covering all aspects of language learning (speaking, listening, writing, reading skills), our Spanish program is specifically designed for foreign students and is taught completely in Spanish. All books and materials are provided by the school. We offer three different types of programs. Our standard Spanish program is 20 lessons per week, while the intensive Spanish program consists of 30 hours of lessons per week. We also offer private lessons catered to the your individual needs.

Highlights: In addition, we offer 3-4 organized activities every week; our Spanish program is not merely a language course, but an immersion into Peruvian culture and lifestyles. Activities include: visits to local areas of interest, dance classes, cooking classes, cultural classes, parties and fiestas, Spanish language videos & movies, seminars and discussion groups. In cooperation with local tour operators, we can help you arrange excursions to different places of interest, both locally and throughout Peru. These excursions range from several days (e.g. a weekend) to longer.

Students are lodged in host families located in neighborhoods usually no more than a 10 minute bus ride to school. Each participant will have a private room and 3 meals per day provided by the family.
