Description: This Spanish immersion program takes place in Ecuador, the most peaceful and safest country in South America. The country has some of the world's oldest rainforests, the highest active volcano in the world, and the amazing Galapagos Islands. You will find Amazonian tribes clinging to their traditional way of life, a thriving Andean culture, and Latin America's oldest Indigenous market. Our school is located in Quito, in a beautifully renovated colonial mansion, surrounded by gardens in a quiet residential area. Students can enjoy the swimming pool, hot tub, Turkish sauna and baths, multimedia classroom, amphitheater, library, computer lab with WiFi, cafeteria and soccer field.

We offer three programs: Intensive Courses consisting of 20 hours of group classes per week; Super Intensive Courses consisting of 20 hours of group classes + 10 hours of individual lessons per week and Individual Courses consisting of 20 hours of private lessons per week.

Highlights: Dance lessons, cooking classes and city tours are arranged every week. These activities are very inexpensive and sometimes free. Examples include: visits to the "Virgen de Quito", "El Panecillo", and "La Cima de la Libertad" monuments, visit to churches and convents from the colonial era, tour of the presidential palace, visit to a local market, courses in Salsa or Merengue, and courses in Ecuadorian cooking.
The school also organizes weekend activities. Examples include: the hot springs of Papallacta, the tropical forests of Mindo and Hacienda La Escondida, the tropical forest of Tandayapa (nature reserve), horse riding, train excursions into the mountains, rafting, trekking in the Pasochoa national park, visit to the Atacames.

Host family accommodation with private room and private bath is included in all weekly rates. Breakfast, dinner and laundry service are provided by the family. Most host families live no more than a 10-20 minute walk from the school.
