Description: This Italian language immersion program takes place in one of the most popular destinations in the world, Rome. The climate is warm and sunny yet temperate, the country is famous for its fashion, the local cuisine boasts delicious pizzas, pastas and risottos, and there are miles and miles of sandy beaches and picturesque coastlines. Additionally, Italy, as the birthplace of both the Roman empire and the Renaissance, is historically one of the major centers of western civilization, and linguistic programs here are as culturally stimulating as they are relaxing.

Our partner school in Rome is a friendly and small language center that specializes in teaching Italian to foreign students who are preparing to take the CILS and IT (Certificate of Italian, advanced level) examinations for entry into Italian universities. It is located in the historical center of the city, just a stone's throw from the Coliseum and Termini Station.

Highlights: The school organizes, assists and encourages its students to participate in its numerous socio-cultural activities in their spare time, making their stay in Rome a more pleasant and stimulating experience. Many of the activities are free of charge, others are at a reduced or discounted price.
Cultural activities consist of tours guided by an art historian, watching Italian films with an introduction by a teacher, assistance in museums reservations, discounted prices for theater, opera, ballets and concerts, and discounts in bookstores.
Social and free time activities consist of visits to different neighborhoods, lunches with the teachers, school parties, visits to typical nightclubs, sport club discounts and cooking courses for amateurs at a private house.
On weekends, students can go on excursions to Florence and Naples.
