Teaching English is what we do best here in Nikolaev. Our teaching staff includes two American English Language Teachers, A Canadian English Language Teacher who specializes in Accent Elimination and three Ukrainian Certified English teachers. Larisa School of Language opened in 2008 teaching the very best American and British English in Nikolaev. You can choose from small groups with a maximum of 8 students or mini groups with a maximum of 4. Classes are pre-set 2 or three days a week depending on the students schedules. Classes are one and a half hours long, morning, daytime and evening. We use Headway Lesson and Work Books plus additional grammar references and exercises from Murphy and Heinemann. All levels are taught, including Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced. In addition to printed materials, we also incorporate Computer Lab as an additional resource at no charge for students. Our school has 4 computers for Computer Lab studies where students can come to our school at their convenience and learn on our computers with the help of a teacher if needed. State of the art English Learning Programs and Internet resources are used for Computer Lab to assist students in the learning process. Testing is performed at set intervals to insure their English Learning progress. Length of course is 4 months at 3 times per week or 5 months at 2 times per week.

Private English lessons can be scheduled from one to three hours in duration. Private lessons can be scheduled weekdays as well as weekends. One on one lessons are for students who want to learn fast at times best for you. Lessons can be structured with pre-set corriculum for all levels including Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced. Specific areas of learning can be tailored to fit your profession or expertise in many areas including Business, Finance, International Marketing, Maritime and Construction just to name a few. Computer Lab is also included at no additional cost and can be scheduled to fit your needs. Internet access and custom learning programs are used to help you learn English as quickly as possible. Larisa School of Language's Mission Statement: We provide the best learning atmosphere and teaching facilities. Teachers on staff are from The United States, Canada, The United Kingdom and Ukraine. We utilize printed corriculum as well as electronic mediums. Programs used but not limited to are Headway, Oxford, Heinemans, Murphy and more. In Nikolaev, we are known for our computer lab, corporate and general business programs. Fast track programs are available as well as private lessons and lessons in class sizes of 8. Mini groups with a maximum of three are also available.
Our primary goal is to teach the best grammer along with a students ability to speak English fluently. Pronunciation specialists are on staff to work with students for the best pronunciation and accent elimination possible.
