PRE-DEGREE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM * Prepares you to study at a Canadian university or college * For Students who would like to develop sophisticated fluency and written English skills * Students will learn to write university essays of 100 + words, the language and behavior to participate in seminars and tutorials, university culture and academic expectations, strategies for teamwork in an academic environment, critical thinking and making strong arguments, English planning and performing presentation skills, examination techniques, research skills and TOEFL preparation and practice * 500 USD scholarship to university or college awarded to students who achieve an A grade * Program qualifies you to enter many of ILAC's partner universities or colleges without taking the TOEFL/IELTS * Beginner and intermediate students will start in General English and FCE and then continue into Pre - Degree Certificate Course Goals * Pre - Degree Certificate * Conditional entrance to university or college * Develop academic English skills required to succeed at university or college PRE-MBA PROGRAM This program consists of two parts (1) ILAC's 16 week Pre-Degree Certificate Program (see page 15 for details) and simultaneously (2) GMAT Preparation program at The Princeton Review * GMAT classes at The Princeton Review run for 7 weeks, consisting of a weekly three-hour class and are taken concurrently with the Pre-Degree Program, beginning in the student's second or third month of the Pre-Degree Program PRE-MASTERS PROGRAM This program consists of two parts (1) ILAC's 16 week Pre-Degree Certificate Program (see page 15 for details) and simultaneously (2) GRE Preparation program at The Princeton Review * GRE classes at The Princeton Review run for 7 weeks, consisting of a weekly three-hour class and are taken concurrently with the Pre-Degree Program, beginning in the student's second or third month of the Pre-Degree Program. HIGH SCHOOL YEAR * The High School Year includes seven grade-12 high school courses or English courses if required. * Students who finish grade 12, will earn a Canadian High School Diploma. * Students have the chance to improve their GPA in order to gain acceptance to top universities * Graduates will be eligible to apply to any college or university as a Canadian high school graduate * This program is in partnership with the Toronto Independent High School * As a high school student you will receive university counselling from the Toronto Independent High School, which will help you make the best education choices Course Goals * Canadian High School Diploma and improve your GPA * Acceptance to a top university or college * Build a strong foundation in the Canadian education system which will greatly improve your success at university
