Description: Welcome to the Arabeya Association for the study of Arabic language in Egypt.

At Arabeya in the heart of Cairo you will have the opportunity to learn how to read, write and speak Arabic under the tutelage of professionally trained native speakers.

Arabeya specializes in the instruction of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and Egyptian Arabic (ECA). MSA is formal Arabic (Insert Arabic text: fos-ha), the most widely used in the media and closely resembling the Arabic in the Holy Quran. ECA (Insert Arabic text: a3meya) is the common language of the largest country in the Arab world, known by Arabic speakers around the world through Egypt's prolific film and television industry.

Arabeya's programs of Arabic study draw on a variety of resources such as academic reading materials, listening exercises, writing assignments and online courses supplemented with regular conversation practice and our own curriculum.

AR for Arabic Language's Mission Statement: Our Mission is to teach the language through the medium of the Egyptian Arabic language itself. We allow you to make a serious progress in Arabic in a extremely short period of time, whatever your starting point. Our finely graded curriculum means you will waste no time attending classes below or above your level. We use a modern lively approach to teaching Egyptian colloquial and classical Arabic language to non-Arabs using teachers who are not only qualified but are also native speakers.
