ESE, considered one of Malta's leading and largest English language schools, also offers a Work Placement - Internship programme to students who are in their 3rd or 4th year of their studies.

Students can also enjoy a work placement in one of Malta's many and diverse industries depending on their course of studies. ESE will look after the screening of students and place them with appropriate companies that can offer a work placement programme according to the tasks and competences to be achieved by the students.   

ESE offers a one-stop-shop; we arrange placement of students, flights and travel insurance, accommodation, 24/7 welfare assistance and guidance and supervision during the students' work placement. Students also get three hours per week of English language tuition to help improve the level of English for better communication to get more out of their work placements and beyond.   

Our package is complete and includes; flights, meet and greet at the airport, transfers to accommodation, free use of a gym with indoor pool, discounts at our in-house Subway restaurant and Speakeasy Cafe' and very importantly 24/7 welfare support. Company doctor available on call but payment is to be settled directly by the student. All accommodation is at ESE residences which are new and to the highest standards centrally located in St Julians and Sliema. Our prices are competitive and open to all nationals.   

Work placements are normally for 10 to 20 weeks as very few sponsors will consider a shorter work placement period with insufficient time to train and make the student productive. However, work placements for 8 weeks will be considered on an individual basis and depending on the discipline.

Our sponsors form a list of well established companies in the local market and offer placements in many different disciplines such as; Sales & Marketing, Communications, IT at all levels, Beauty, Fashion, Retail, HR Management, F&B, Catering, PR & Advertising, Front Office Management, Nursing, Care Workers, Manufacturing Industry, Supervisory, Accounts, Office Administration and many others.

Students are encouraged to choose Malta to undertake a work placement experience which is a great opportunity to also improve their English and experience the working world in a different country.

Qualifications: Students following their course of studies in any of the interns offered below are eligible to apply. No qualifications are required. Level of English should be at B1 or B2 level.
