Description: The Center offers eight week and four week programs in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian. At the successful conclusion of each eight-week summer program, students will have completed at least one year of language study and are prepared to enter the next year of study at most colleges and universities. Students successfully completing the four-week session will earn the equivalent of a semester of language study.

Programs are open to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students; advanced high school students; educators; business persons; and adults interested in language study for academic purposes, career and personal enrichment. The CLS is ideal for people preparing to work or study abroad.
