Description: Valparachile Spanish School is a cultural project which aims to teaching Spanish in an interactive way.

This school was created by Arturo Duran (professor of Spanish graduated at The Catholic University of Valparaiso) and María Victoria Hajna (journalist graduated at The University of Viña del Mar) who want through this school to spread our language and culture and give the practical information a traveler needs to learn about the richness of a country, its language, its people and places, through the language.

Our school is located on Cerro Alegre, Valparaíso and it offers comfortable and pleasant spaces to work in a safe and beautiful neighborhood.
Students will have educational materials with weekly goals.

Each course lasts 5 days and is divided in two modules: a practical Spanish conversation and grammar, this is complemented by a tour in the city to allow students to participate in situations in which they practice linguistic interaction.

Courses are offered at three levels: basic, intermediate and advanced, and also private lessons.

Basic Objectives

a) To know and practice basic forms of interaction along with the practice to be initiated in the use of Spanish in Chile
b) In grammar to know the elements to write simple sentences and to get initiated in the syntax of Spanish.

Intermediate Objectives

a) To practice and improvement in thematic discussions.
b) In grammar to practice the use of simple verb to start using the composed tenses

Advanced Objectives

a) To practice the use of Spanish and its unique grammar through analysis of texts.
b) To recognize the differences in the use of the pasts and use of the conditional sentence.
c) Practicing language variations of the Chilean Spanish, idioms and Chilean slang.

Private Lessons

The contents could be agreed with the student according to their interests.
