Description: At our private language school in Damascus, we offer high quality courses for those who like to learn to speak Arabic within a very short time. Teachers work with the "4 - Skills Method" and let you speak from the first day. With our method you are able to build up a strong basement of Standard Arabic. Within 4 weeks you may talk about basic things, go shopping, hire a taxi, go to the doctors, rent a room etc. After 10 weeks with us, you should be able to read newspapers, listen to TV-news, write letters and talk about politics, economics, social- and cultural affairs. Studying in any western university should become very easy then. There are not more than 4 students in one group, except in student's courses. Lessons are held 4 to 6 hours a day, 5 to 6 days a week. One unit is 45 minutes. To complete our service, we offer airport transfer and rooms as well.

Highlights: The Method of the "4 - Skills" is based on scientific research. The method copies the way we learn our mother tongue. Talking by that, we normally use 40 to 50 words a minute correctly, without regarding any grammar. To do the same in a foreign language like an engineer, building correct sentences only by grammar rules, the capacity of human brain is to small. If we want to talk fluently in any language we must know complete sentences.

Two main experiences are basic for the "4 - Skills Method"

1) You can only recognize by reading and listening what you already know.

2) To recognize something you know, you need to get only 25% of an information from outside, 75% of that information is completed by what is already stored in your brain.

This is e.g. the reason why we can read only very slow, starting to learn a new language and why we can not understand somebody talking very quickly in this new language. Our brain is not yet filled up with the new information. Consequently teaching has to make it easy for students to get the necessary information first. This exactly happens through the "4 - Skills Method".

And you will hardly forget anything you learned this way. You feel secure about the new language. Every hour you learn more and more to build up a strong basement. You can't loose it anymore and from a certain point you are able to study the language on your own.

At least you can use your new language nearly like your mother tongue, cause you didn't learn it through translation.
