Description: Pop Wuj - Spanish School Guatemala is a Non-Profit Organization run by teachers to support sustainable community development. After the teachers draw a modest wage and take care of expenses, the remaining income is dedicated to financing the thriving rural development projects and educational endeavors that the school has undertaken and nurtured over the past 18 years. Learn Spanish while helping the people of Guatemala through a host of Volunteer opportunities in our Community Development Projects.

Highlights: Pop Wuj - Spanish School Guatemala offers a variety of Spanish Courses to suit your personal needs and preferences:

Spanish Immersion Course - Learn Spanish with intensive one-to-one Spanish classes and homestay in a Guatemalan family to immerse yourself into the Spanish Language

Excursion Spanish Immersion Program - Complement traditional Spanish language study in this three week program and learn to speak Spanish through field trips and community development projects that bring students into a direct contact with different aspects of Guatemalan life

Medical Spanish Program - Learn Medical Spanish through intensive One-to-One Tuition with a supplemental curriculum for Medical Spanish. The Medical Spanish Program provides health and medical education as well as clinical experience in the Pop-Wuj Clinic and with midwives in Guatemala that is suitable for elective rotation.

Social Work Program - Experience Spanish Immersion as a full time volunteer in the Pop-Wuj community development projects incl. children volunteer work and youth community development.
