Description: At the CRLA we believe that students need to feel at home, at ease and constantly encouraged in order to gain the confidence required to speak a foreign language. Our unique Spanish programs are carefully designed to meet the individual needs of each student . We provide many different options and the flexibility for students to make the most of their time and enjoy all that Costa Rica has to offer. Because the CRLA is Costa Rican owned and operated we can ensure that students will have an authentic cultural experience.

Spanish is now one of the most widely spoken languages in the world; Costa Rica is a country of friendly people surrounded by natural wonders: and we would like to share it all with you! In the Costa Rican Language Academy you will have the opportunity to learn our language, move to our rhythm, explore our country, experience our way of life, make new friends and much more.

Highlights: Our programs offer students the opportunity to discover our culture first hand. These programs include: Homestays with carefully selected Costa Rican families, afternoon Latin Dance and Costa Rican Cooking classes, Latin Music & Conversation 'Hour', 24 hour airport transportation, excursions and cultural activities. Courses offered year-round. (Individual classes, special packages for groups and alternative accommodations are also available). Volunteer work program available.

CRLA also makes regular donations to various local community organizations.
