This full service architect company has been creatively designing and constructing for schools, healthcare centres, religious institutions and hospitality industries since 1982. This unique company's main focus when designing and constructing is to build in the most ecological way to save the client money on long term operational costs. Some of the services provided by this company include: - project planning
- Restorations
- Renovations
- additions and
- the design of new buildings
Highlights:
This internship is for those who have an education and/or experience in architecture and/or interior design plus an eye for details and would like to expand their knowledge in the industry. Intern duties: - Assist in client presentations and meetings
- Attend site visits
- Assist in building study models to help in design development/investigations
- Perform administrative duties
Qualifications:
The internship is available for participants of the following Wish Canada Recruit Inc programs:
- English Study in Canada + Internship (for all countries);
- Professional Internship (ONLY for citizens of Australia, New Zealand, Eire, Great Britain, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Czech Rep., Latvia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Japan, Poland, Chile, Korea, Rep.) Internship prerequisite:
- Currently studying or have previous experience in Architecture, interior design and/or graphic design;
- Proficient in Microsoft office (examples: Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
- Proficient with design software (example: AutoCAD);
- Have a portfolio of previous and current designs;
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently and be open-minded to diversity.
