Description:
General French : 20 hours (semi-intensive) or 30 hours (intensive) a week. Maximum 6 persons in a group. The emphasis is on active learning techniques. Because most of our clients have a professional background or professional objectives, Media Langues Guadeloupe focuses on French grammar as well as useful, day-to-day verbal skills. All levels of students participate in interactive workshops where they learn and practice their new French language abilities. Upon enrollment, students are pre-evaluated for placement in appropriate level workshops. Students specify their individual learning needs and the type of French language difficulties they encounter on a routine, daily basis. This information allows us to design each course to meet the each student's unique learning needs. In the semi-intensive course, at least one workshop per week is dedicated to each student's personal French language problems. In the intensive, or one-to-one course, the amount of time dedicated to each student's objectives is increased. Global workshops usually focus on local Guadeloupe topics. Students learn about a wide variety of political, cultural and economic issues in order to better understand life in the French West Indies while enhancing their French language skills.
