Learn to Speak Spanish in Hometown Mexico
Mexico
- Pacific Coast:
Buenavista,
Buenavista de Cuellar
Dates: Every Monday
Description:
Study, learn and speak Spanish in rural Buenavista de CuAllar where you are one with the local community. Our name, Tlatoani, means "He Who Speaks Well" and represents our focus on teaching effective and sustained Spanish communication skills. As the Regional Municipality, Buenavista is at the crossroads of humble living and modern convenience. One very important note, our location will not suit every student. For those students more accustomed to an active lifestyle, Buenavista will be too quiet a spot for them. For students that prefer to focus on studying the language and getting to know the Mexican people and culture, Buenavista is perfect. There are many things to do in areas outside of Buenavista that are excellent weekend or one day excursions: - visits to Taxco, the Caverns of Cacahuamilpa, - Palace of Cortez in Cuernavaca, - the Ruins of Xochicalco and Acapulco among others. - Students are taken for visits throughout the town and countryside.
Highlights:
Our purpose and location set Tlatoani apart from other language schools. We opened the school with a dual purpose; serve the language needs of those people who want and need to learn Spanish to better interact with the growing Hispanic Community in the United States and to improve the quality of life of the local residents in Buenavista and the surrounding towns. Our location offers our Spanish students a unique opportunity for total language, culture and social immersion without sacrificing modern day conveniences and amenities. Our teachers are native speakers and have been specifically trained in our course that was developed based on adult second language acquisition theory, linguistically designed to produce measurable results and infused with topics of cultural awareness. Students may choose to lodge at a Mexican host home or stay in one of the private rooms with full bath at the school, subject to availability.
